I’m here to support you in uncovering whatever you feel passionate about bringing into your life.
Hi, I’m Victoria Charles
a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (#121895). I’m here to help you love yourself and your relationships. victoria charles
Whatever you are experiencing currently, bring it to our shared space. I know what it feels like to be a client and I can empathize. This is your space to talk about all that stuff you’ve been too scared to talk about with anyone and all that stuff that has been weighing you down. As a therapist, I am a holder of sacred secrets and classified information. Sharing lets you lighten your load and breathe easier. victoria charles
Your personal journey is important to me and I love taking the time to learn more about what makes you uniquely you.
I offer a warm, kind, safe space in which to use as your discovery playground. You’re also here because you want to implement change into your life. We will collaborate on your goals and what you would like to address in therapy. Sometimes, new goals come up as our work continues and we’ll make space for them as well.
Sometimes I include laughter and humor in our work. Who says that therapy has to be painful and grueling while going through half a box of tissues every single session?
Those sessions where you feel lighter and joyful are just as important. Being witnessed in these states builds up your resilience, which then fortifies you to do the deeper work.
Your tears are also welcome here. I imagine that you’ve probably been holding in more tears than you’ve been acknowledging to yourself. Having a secure therapeutic relationship is integral as you allow yourself to peel back the layers, move through your emotions, as we move through your inner landscape.
I will provide you with the tools, skills, and knowledge from various modalities that I use in my practice. My therapeutic approach is engaged, collaborative, and relational.
You will feel unconditionally accepted here. Isn’t that what we all want?
I have received training in Somatic Experiencing, Hakomi, Gottman Method, and PACT. I also incorporate cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) as well as narrative therapy and depth-oriented psychotherapy. I am informed by the latest research in neuroscience, attachment theory, humanistic psychology, psychodynamic theory, mindfulness and meditation practices from around the globe, yoga, somatics, and trauma informed practices. I also use my own experiences as a human being in this world to meet you exactly where you’re at.
Come as you are. I’d love to welcome you in.
